These locks are great! I had to return the one with the flexpad because it was difficult to keep the lock open when fitting a new combination and so I was locked out of my own padlock. They have a U-shaped fastener that is strong and easy to twist to install. If you can't hold it down long enough to set up a new combo, just start with the default 0-0-0. A tip: when installing a new combination, make sure the lock is facing you and use your thumb and forefinger to set the new combination. Finally, I'm not entirely sure what the open alarm indicator means, but it sounds good!
