Overall this support pillow is great! It has taken my mediocre, "ergonomic" office chair, which I bought for its quirky features of extreme recline (almost flat) and footrest (facilitating a quick nap in my home office for those really late nights), to a new level. Comfort. The lumbar pillow that came with my chair was too thick and only added to an unnatural flex due to the size of the pillow and the length of the seat (about 2-3 inches too long for my knees so I had to choose between bad posture and poor circulation). Although I otherwise liked the chair very much, I got severe back pain due to the bad posture. Unfortunately I missed the return period so now I'm in a chair that's killing me. Enter the High Sierra back brace. This is a very well made memory foam back support pillow that has completely changed the game. Within a few days of using it, my back pain subsided. Now I'm at the point where I think sitting in this chair for a few hours a day could actually help my back (I used to have to get up every 1-2 hours otherwise the tension and fatigue would be terrible) . The only reason I gave it 4 stars for comfort is that I feel this could be achieved with a slight taper in the areas between the shoulder blades and upper back, but as that is what it primarily aims for , to relieve the lumbar spine, I fully understand this reasoning. Nevertheless 5 out of 5 in all points!
