I used to have a wire type egg slicer in our commercial kitchen. I tried to use it for strawberries and, spoiler, after a few times it broke. After browsing for a while i came across this product and hot damn its a keeper. Instead of wires there are individual micro serrated blades which cut thru strawberries, mushrooms, eggs, etc like a dream. It locks closed and stores upright nice and tidy. I cannot say this loud enough. IT IS IDIOT PROOF! My kitchen has been over-run by teenagers and, bless their hearts, they try but dear god they make me understand why there is directions on shampoo bottles. But this product is probably one of three tools they understand without me holding their hand. 5 stars!
