Review on Debut Dolby Atmos Modules Black by Dwayne Simpson

Floor-to-ceiling Dolby Atmos?

Dolby Atmos is a pretty good surround sound format if you can get hold of it. He practically does what he has to do - he immerses the audience in a story or a song. The perfection of the Atmos configuration - in-ceiling speakers (ceiling to floor); The next quality configuration would be an Atmos speaker placed on top of another speaker (floor to ceiling). Opinions differ on how many Atmos speakers are needed: 2, 4, 6, 8, etc. You can do with two in the front or two in the back, but 2 in the front and two in the back are best. I have ELAC A4.2 Atmos. Speakers with 2 front and 2 rear. In my opinion, the 7.2.4 home theater offers the most realistic Dolby Atmos immersion. First off, it's an AVR that can handle the channels you need in the musical quality or fidelity you want, and then you need the right mechanical speakers. I have ELAC tower and ELAC bookshelf speakers for a 7.2.4 configuration. All ELACs sound the same in terms of concentric mids and highs. I think these ELAC Atmos speakers can be mixed and matched with just about any surround sound system for optimal results. I highly recommend these ELAC Debut A4.2s for a 7.2.4 system, but you'll get enough "atmosphere". just 2 in front or 2 in back - just make sure the impedance of all speakers involved matches the impedance (you should always consider speaker synergy). I know it's worth upgrading to four. Two or more Atmos speakers increase the height/width of the soundstage, including thunder, rain, howls, screams, or dramatic music. However, it is Atmos 2 in the front and 2 in the back that the director had in mind!
