Review on EBL 8-Pack Rechargeable Lithium AA Batteries With Smart Charger - Long-Lasting 1.5V AA Li-Ion Batteries by Jonathan Devarapalli

I purchased these about 2 months ago. Initially they worked fine. Battery life was good between recharge (initially used in flashlights, headlamps, game camera). About 1 month ago I installed several in to pagers that are used to notify me of SAR missions. Battery seemed to be lasting longer than normal but about one week ago i started having problems. I’ve narrowed it down to 3 or 4 batteries of the 8 (so far) that won’t hold a charge or are experiencing some sort of surging. I’ve been replacing them and trying to cycle though all of them to see if it’s an issue affecting the entire lot or just a few.It’s disappointing because we use AA batteries a lot and this was an investment to try and save money over the long run. For the price, I could have purchased several dozens of regular batteries that probably would have lasted me at least a year
