I love Fluker heater mats. This is the only type I use for my Ball Python enclosures. I have all three sizes. These thermal mats are very reliable and will last forever. I have used Fluker heater mats for many years and have never had any problems. It is important to choose the right case size and read the instructions. You must use insulation under the mat to properly transfer heat to the case. I use thermostats and dimmers to control the temperature in tanks. I like the fact that Fluker's mats don't have adhesive under the tank like many other heater mats, so you can easily rearrange them or move them to a different tank if needed. With other mats I've seen, once you've attached them to the tank, you can't move them.
