My 18 year old son borrowed my car and drove a drunk friend home. Drunk friend vomited on back seat and floor. My son, thank god, used VINEGAR - a whole gallon - to clean the vomit out of my car. He literally threw it on the floor and let it sink in. And threw it on my spot, wherever there was vomit. The vinegar definitely took away the smell of the vomit, but HOLY VINEGAR! The smell made me nauseous every time I got in the car. I even detailed it inside and tried to wash the smell out with shampoo. It did not work. So I threw HALF that bag on the back seat and floor, gave it a really good rub and left it overnight. The next day I smelled NO TRACES of vinegar. After vacuuming it (which was a breeze) I could barely smell the vinegar. A week later I used up the rest of the pack and so far I don't smell like vinegar anymore. Brilliant work!
