Review on Petit Collage Wooden Animal Blocks by Dana Schmidt

This is a cute set of building blocks. It's a bit richer live than online. Good selection of parts to play with and assemble/layout. I bought these for a 6 month old girl because although she can't stack or build yet, she loves to sit and play with blocks. I think it's good for her agility, coordination, etc. Even if she can't stack and build, it's still good for her and she really enjoys handling it. She has big blocks that she sits and plays on so after thinking about it during the day I decided to try these out with her. She sits and plays with them, throws and strums them. The beauty of blocks of wood is that they sound quieter than blocks of plastic that constantly rattle against each other. These are nice thick pieces of wood that are easy for young children to handle and manipulate. Animal blocks are distributed in a cute way. All parts are a good size too. I was afraid they would be tiny in the pictures on the web but they are really good sizes. I'm glad I went for it because she can play with it for a few more years. A 4 year old likes to play with it too.
