HOLY COW or horse. This is a fun game. It's also expensive. I was waiting to receive this as a birthday present for myself with the gift cards I received. The quality is there but it's a little disappointing how some corners have been cut for this price point. For example, the horses' numbers aren't painted on, they're stickers you have to apply yourself, and some of the lettering on the board is pre-applied stickers instead of paint, which would give them an "heirloom" quality. But the gameplay itself and the fun of the game is great. We only played with my family of 3 and we played with a group of 10. All age groups are involved. Everyone screams or groans as they roll the dice, and when 12 horses appear out of nowhere to win, it's exciting or devastating, depending on who has the queens. I would recommend having a set of poker chips or LOTS of coins. on hand (nickels, dimes and quarters), especially for large groups.
