Don't waste money

This winding machine is completely useless unless you are winding MINI skeins. I tried to wrap a skein of fine yarn (100g/400 yards) three times. If the holder is less than half full, the yarn will start slipping off the top, resulting in a messy, tangled cake. I have many years of experience winding yarn and this is the first time I encounter this problem. Very very disappointed.
