Leaks around the gasket where it attaches to the Berkey as others have said. I installed it as is, I did not swap out the rubber pads for those on the stock Berkey spout. I may have to try to change them. I was very careful not to overtighten the nut on the back during installation, knowing that overtightening can cause leaks just as often as undertightening. At the same time, mine is still dripping at the junction. Thankfully not by much, but you definitely don't want it sitting on a wooden surface.
