Not the best way to learn to draw.

As an adult artist who has tried night painting and painting with hands, I think this is not the best way to learn to draw. As some other reviewers have pointed out, the lines are often faint and the numbers hard to see, making it difficult to know where to use and what color to use. More importantly, this approach focuses your energy on filling in the colors rather than trying to reproduce the image. . More than half the time you don't understand what you're drawing, whether it's part of a leaf or a flower bud. You're just trying to ink a shape with a squiggly line. This creates a lot of frustration and takes a lot of the fun out of drawing. I prefer to paint my own painting based on the painting printout or image. At least I can make more artistic choices and I'm not limited to some predetermined lines. By the way, if you are choosing between a larger or smaller canvas, choose the larger one. It's much harder for the little one (which I chose) to read the line and fill out the form correctly. The brush is often not precise enough to draw these tiny shapes.
