I also have an older Cricut, explore one. Little did I know when I bought my new laptop that it wouldn't be compatible with it (Chromebook). I was very disappointed because there was no way to connect them and cut the project. After some research I found out that they do indeed have this handy bluetooth adapter. Works great and now I can easily use my cricuts and themes from my chromebook. Never lost a signal or anything like that.
