Review on Kwiksen 24548 Downstream O2 Oxygen Sensor (Part #234-4622) by Kevin Abner

This is a sensor that helps regulate the gas/air ratio for maximum fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. Mine failed as reported by OBD, although I still got 32-33mpg on long roads (in a 1997 Corolla). and in the exhaust there is a distinct smell of gasoline (especially noticeable in the parking lot after a long drive). Since this is the sensor that will solve this problem and since the problem started immediately after installation, I assume the sensor is defective. But the change hurts so much that I'll probably live with it for a while.
