Review on Securely Attach Your Garmin Nuvi with i.Trek Sticky Mount (Black) by Todd Vesci

I'm REALLY disappointed with the Garmin Nuvi suction cup mount. This worked fine on my old small device, but when upgrading to a larger screen, the suction cup didn't work. After searching the internet for different mounting options, I found the sticky I.Trek mount. The mount is surprisingly small and compact (I actually thought it was $10 when I opened the package? But after a few weeks of use, I was sold out). Time to really clean the dash area (with anhydrous alcohol) and let it dry completely. I then parked the truck in the sun to make sure the dash and mount were warmed up, glued the mount to the mount by pressing down hard, and then waited all night before attaching the GPS. So far, so good. The mounting profile (the distance it protrudes from the dashboard) is fairly low, which is actually perfect for my placement. Ball joint tension is easily adjusted with a knurled knob that you can tighten once you get where you want to be. Very durable - does not move when you enter information on the touch screen. It doesn't wobble even on rough roads (a suction cup bounced in all directions). While I LOVE it
