I bought this hook to reach the hummingbird and petunia feeder that I keep on a branch high in a tree. I am very happy with this boat hook! Before I got it I had to pull out my 3 step ladder which was unsafe and still not high enough because I'm only 5ft 3 inches tall. So it's a much safer option and I don't want my neighbors asking me if I need help again! This hook has a good diameter to hold in hand and the handles don't slip. The boat hook is very well hidden right behind my vertical blinds and nobody knows it's there. In the winter I will use it as a top rod in my closet to pull down my clothes. This hook is perfect for the purpose I need it for. And, hey, if I ever buy a boat I'll bet it all lol!
