I have a new Asus TUF 506IU with a Ryzen 7 4800H and it comes with 16GB of Samsung RAM at 3200MHz. Anyway, I need 32GB as I do a lot of photo editing with large files and 16GB will run out fast. So I found Crucial Ballastix 3200MHz and cl16 and they said on their website that they would work. Well it worked, but only at 2666MHz. Why? Well I thought it was because Crucial required 1.35v to run at 3200. Then I found G.Skillz reading 3200 at 1.2V. No, that would only run at 2400MHz. So I installed the old RAM and took a close look at it with CPU-Z. Here's what I found. I now know that Asus TUF laptops don't support XMP profiles. So how did they get to 3200MHz? Samsung Stock RAM only had JEDEC profiles (usually without OC). So now I've been looking everywhere and ended up on the Kingston website where they showed JEDEC profiles for 2x16GB 3200MHz RAM. So I returned all the others and to my surprise this HyperX RAM worked perfectly. 3200MHz at 1.2V and cl20 and will run faster if you have a board or laptop that supports XMP profiles. Sorry for the long review. But if I could find a post similar to the one I just typed, I wouldn't have to research so long and order three different lamb sticks. Well I hope this helps some others.
