Replaced the base MDX 2008 air filter with this one, no problem. It fit perfectly and the exchange took basically 15 minutes. Here are steps1. Open the hood2. Locate the filter assembly (air intake next to the engine)3. Carefully remove the electronic cable from the top by pressing on the top. 4. Unscrew the 4 screws holding the black cover.5. Carefully lift the cover and take out the old filter (note the orientation)6. Insert the new filter in the correct orientation7. Tighten the 4 screws and then connect the electric cable from the top until it clicks into place. Everything is ready.
