I was a bit skeptical. Everything I've read says that ventilation and warmth are absolutely essential for hatching Artemia. But I gave it a try anyway and I'm so glad I did. It's very easy to use! I dissolved some aquarium salt in the water, filled the incubator and added the caviar. I didn't have to deal with it. Just leave it there and in 36 hours I have freshly hatched Artemia to feed my fish. I will say that I use live brine shrimp as an occasional addition to a single fish diet. I'm not sure if this is practical for those who have multiple tanks with multiple fish to feed, or who want to use this as their main diet. But more than adequate for my needs
