Review on Actiontec Wireless Transmitter Receiver MWTVKIT01 by Darren Anderson

Loved the fact that this unit allows me to wirelessly stream HD images/sound to a remote TV. However, after installing everything that was stated, I found that I couldn't get any sound on my main TV. I called the manufacturer's support three times. Each time I was told to restart the cable box and then the two devices. But that didn't solve the problem at all. I even tried switching to high quality HDMI cables. Still no sound on my main TV which is connected directly to the station via the "to tv" port on the unit. While I was happy to be able to watch HD TV wirelessly on my remote TV, I don't want my main TV to be "mute". Also, the IR sensor on this thing is weird. I had to point the remote at the wall (rather than directly at the sensor) for it to work. I was not expecting that. Eventually Revane returned it.
