This subwoofer has a pretty good buzz. The subwoofer seems to prefer low frequencies. Sometimes you can feel the kick from the subwoofer (which is mounted behind my seat) more than you can actually hear it. After making tweaks to the settings, I was able to achieve the desired sound after fully turning on the low pass filter. The volume control is very useful if you don't want to hear too much bass when listening to the radio. UPDATE: After 25 months of regular use, I am happy to report that I have had no problems with this product. The subwoofer and its control knob work the same as when initially installed. UPDATE: After 37 months of regular use, the subwoofer works like new. The volume control has some problems. Sometimes the pen loses connection. which puts the bass in full tune. it's not that loud, but it's still annoying with classical music or talk radio. A quick wiggle of the handle, the connection is back and everything is back to normal. It should be noted that I used a grinder to cut the body of the grip to fit the dash, making it a bit brittle. I suspect this is the cause of the problem. Again, the subwoofer itself has no issues despite being strapped to the back of my truck's bench seat for years.
