Don't buy them. I don't usually leave reviews, but it was necessary. I know you get what you pay for but it feels like they are specifically designed to be difficult for the customer. I bought these for a little surprise decoration to cheer up my fiancé who could use some Christmas fun (couldn't we all do it this year!), but I wasn't expecting such a terrifying experience. I have worked with many garlands before the traditional and magical styles (like this) and have NEVER had a problem with this style. They literally tie together at various intervals during wrapping, requiring you to do the tedious task of unwrapping, unwrapping, and unwrapping before putting them on. At first I thought it was because I accidentally committed the mortal sin by trying to unwind it first, so I figured I accidentally tied the knot. So I tried attaching and deploying a second set on my deck only to find the knots and realize you can't do that because you have to remove the knots at each interval to fully unwrap the lights and rotate them to be able to around the desired space. Which is dangerous as the wire garlands are inherently naughty and can easily break if I bend them wrong. What happened here. They worked fine before I unwound them and half checked them. But once I was done, they stopped working (which was inevitable given the way they were tied). Now I'm devastated, I can't do this surprise. I would like a refund (and a refund for the last hour + my time) but I very much doubt anyone would take it seriously. So I thought my review might help people avoid the same mistake. I also took a picture so you can see the style of the inevitable knots throughout.
