I bought this to use with a Plex server which I installed on an old PC currently running Linux Ubuntu as the operating system. The Hauppauge website has all the instructions you need to easily install the card. Driver. Plex recognized the card immediately and no further setup was required. At first sight 4 tuners may seem superfluous but you have to consider that this tuner is not available when the program is even 1 minute past the hour to record a new program. With 4 tuners, I was able to select any show my family wanted without conflict. It definitely made line cutting easier than ever.
