Got this on Black Friday so it cost a little over $5. but still almost 12 dollars. the price is an unbelievably good offer. I compared one of these skeins to the new DMC skein (9 meters) and found that this brand is only 2 feet shorter. The thread quality is amazing! I'm embroidering on a Levi denim jacket, there was not a single thread breakage. The colors are impressive and so close to the DMC colors that the difference is hardly noticeable. All strands were matte as they are cotton. You will receive 1 ball of each color. That suits me because I embroider with many colors and not with large areas of the same color. The colors are an impressive choice and incredibly vibrant. I am 1000% enthusiastic about this topic. I've seen people say it's not a permanent color, but most of them aren't and it's an easy fix.
