Review on πŸ“ž Enhanced 5.8GHz Accessory Handset for Panasonic KX-TG5100M Series by Leonard Beard

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice but expensive - Office Electronics

This is a good phone and works well with our VOIP setup - remodeling the house was a hassle. The range seems good enough - the base station is in the basement and easily covers the two main floors and the yard outside. Good quality. There are some minor issues: - After a year the battery life is poor and when the battery is low the phone reports that it cannot connect to the base station. Replacement Energizer ER-P511 (Note - keep an eye on them as the price can range from $4 to $12). Seems good but time will tell - Could use a louder speaker (or amp) when used in speakerphone mode - No call waiting indicator - Would be nice to edit recently dialed numbers before redialing. Maybe I'm the only one who dials the last digit wrong and has to re-enter the whole number. Overall a good phone but not cheap. Of course, it's not three times better than other 5.6GHz systems that cost as little as $20. I just hope they last longer.
