I don't advise anyone, they are deadly! It is also unsafe for birds that have eggs. My bird took care of three budgies. It turns out I found two of them dead this morning from lack of space. My other budgie has one but got sick from the coconut. My vet told me to take it away from them because they get sick! A mother bird who had one - I just took him out of his cage, put in a shoe box and made room for a nest for the mother - thank god she loved him and is taking care of her only remaining baby budgie. Please do not buy this for your birds, if so buy a crate or bird house for your budgie. NO COCONUTS, please!
