Bilge pump switch replaced (same). I hit him too hard while cleaning the hold with a long-handled brush. Apparently being close to a hot outboard engine indoors makes the plastic brittle. Installed in about half an hour. Cut two wires, strip about 2 inches of insulation, tape the wires together, solder them together, and with some help from a heat gun, shrink them for a secure waterproof finish.
