Review on Karcy Distributor Positive Negative Terminal by Andrea Taylor

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fully insulated and ALL cable clamps use hex wrenches. Less expensive than the competition.

This power distribution clip has become my go-to choice for 12V wiring upgrades in RVs when I need to connect more than 3 wires. Unlike some competitors who have changed the smallest connecting screw from a hex wrench to a Phillips wrench, this bolt uses hex wrenches. (Allen wrench screw heads are better because they don't try to force the screwdriver to "pop out" and remove the screw under high torque.) Some competitors are also NOT FULLY isolated. They can be used as a ground distributor but are dangerous when connecting hot "+12V" wires to negative ground in vehicles. (They would have to be tape wrapped if I was stupid enough to buy them.) This is the lowest price for a good product. The minimum wire size on the smallest terminals is approximately 12 AWG. #14 can be tight too, but I've never tried connecting one of these.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak
