Review on Hankook Ventus Summer Radial Tire by Velizar Hennessy ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just super, it's beautifully made, I'm very happy with it.

To replace the worn-out Hankook Ventus V12 Evo1, I installed 205/55/16 94w. The Evo1s were a lot noisier and significantly stiffer. But the road was maintained! From a location (an Octavia 1.8 car with a manual transmission), accessing the axle box was essentially impossible. I had no trouble accelerating on them up to 200 km/h. The noise is the only annoyance. Well, when they were utterly exhausted, it became foolish to drive quickly on a rainy road. In overall, Evo2 is quiet and seems softer to me. However, this has no bearing on its functional characteristics; they remain unchanged from evo1. Although it would have seemed, it simply grew more comfortable; indeed, a bit more reaction to taxiing is more kind. Time will tell how much wear and how much strength there is; nonetheless, the 94w index gives reason for optimism. By the way, the evo1 handled the Hong Kong roads well in this regard; the disks were fully bent, and the rubber was nonexistent. I haven't drove over 150 mph, but the conditions prevent me from doing so. But I've already traveled 100–120 miles in the rain without incident. And why not, faster in the rain. In general, if it's cool, take it without thinking twice.

Pros
  • Outstanding handling. What a slippery road, just get hurt! And extremely silent.
Cons
  • It hasn't yet been made public. Okay, so it could be a little too soft, but this is already being picky.
