I replaced this with a 1989 90HP Johnson. Worked perfectly. All mounting holes matched perfectly. Before replacing the starter motor, the engine barely turned over, even with a new, fully charged battery. After replacement, it sounded and started like a brand new engine! I couldn't believe how fast he was revving the engine now. And it starts much easier than before. Everywhere I looked this starter was $150-250. I was a little skeptical because of the cheap price but was willing to try it out as it was only $56. I'm glad I did. Works perfect. Excellent quality product. Many Thanks.
