The knobs in our bonus room are 24" center, but the TV mount I had was for 16" center size racks inch designed. This extension mount allowed me to use my 16" mount and get studs on either side. I was also able to move the TV mount to where I wanted. Since I needed the TV mount to be a little to the side of the center of the 2 studs, I was able to mount the TV exactly where I wanted it. It contained all the necessary hardware and installed without any problems. It took about 30-40 minutes to locate the studs, drill pilot holes, install the screws, tighten and mount everything to the wall. I would highly recommend this to anyone especially if the TV they are trying to install is off center on two studs.
