This light switches from spot to flood or vice versa every time you turn it off.
I needed more light so I installed it on a golf cart used on the streets of a private village. Works perfectly. Since it has a spot and flood feature that switches to the opposite beam each time power is lost, I used a cheap turn signal switch to control power.
