Leave the battery disconnected overnight, then: idle for 3 minutes, turn off the ignition for 60 seconds, idle for another 3 minutes, turn the key off for 60 seconds, do not use the throttle or shift gears during the process a. Then ride at different speeds for 15-20 minutes. Should be fine after a ride or two.
