Review on 🚿 Universal 3-Way Bathroom Shower System Replacement Part - Brass Shower Arm Diverter Valve for Hand Held Showerhead and Fixed Spray Head, G 1/2 (Oil-Rubbed Bronze) by Jamel Ochoa

No slow flow issues for valves

We are fortunate to have a municipal water system that delivers exceptional head. So I was particularly disappointed when my 20-year-old shower diverter literally ripped a seam and I replaced it with one I bought at a local hardware store and found it reduced pressure by at least 30 percent, if not more. After throwing it away, I looked at this Mingor device again and, after illustrating the Good Stuff/Small Packages section, was surprised when the tiny but heavy package arrived and pointed it out to my always confused wife indicated that it was a delicate diverter. . When I opened the box I was impressed that the Kobold was made as a key hydraulic manifold in the F-35 fighter. But I was stunned when I looked into the pilot holes and saw two small holes in each one, suggesting they could never produce a powerful flow of water. For the first time since about 1979, I was wrong. After first connecting the device to the shower pipe and turning it on, I was pleased to find that the water flow was at least as strong as before and maybe a little better. When I went back to my physics class, I realized that small openings use something called the "Venturi Effect," although I've always wondered if Ken Venturi might have taken time in his golf career to come up with this phenomenon. Whether or not we owe old Ken this bubbly goodness, rest assured this is one of those delightful diversions and you should seriously consider if, like me, you're being forced to sail with the strongest current.
