I actually bought these to use with snuff. In this form I can say that they work great. The chamber diameter is larger than acrylic, and the capacity is larger. Because I stuff mine with the tobacco I use every day, acrylic balls tend to chip or chafe with frequent use. They shouldn't have this problem and are solid all round. There have been no leaks and there are no future ones. The only downside is the lack of organized storage to keep track of how much is left. But it's easy to find your way around by filling out 5 of them and using them as backups. They cost no more than the high-quality acrylic spheres I got direct from Toque (not much, at least) and shipping overseas is a breeze. Overall, it works great for tobacco.
