Lens blur for audio and video accessories

I wanted to use this for a virtual exam. Unfortunately the picture was too blurry and I had to turn it off. Not connected since. It would be nice if I understood why it's blurry. I even tried wiping the lens. I love that it has a long cord that allows me to show the whole room and a tripod. I will try again before I give up.
