This is the fourth Apple Watch screen protector that I have purchased. I just put it on and immediately hope that it will finally do the job I was hoping for. I had a brand new Apple Watch and within the first week of using it the screen literally broke for no reason. Luckily Apple replaced it for me, but I was paranoid about repeating it. As a first protection I bought a rubber cover for the whole device. It was chunky, air pockets were always visible on the screen, and if moisture built up between it and the watch I had to remove everything, including the strap. The next screen protector I bought was these super thin screen protectors, they lasted great but didn't last long. I went through 3 in a week between peeling corners and doing simple tasks that can cause the profile to crease. I ended up trying out the $35 screen protector, which was tempered glass and then a bumper around it. It was two separate pieces and the installation wasn't accurate, causing the screen protector to lift and particles seeping under it within minutes. This was my last resort and so far I am very happy with how easy the installation was. Seems promising to stay on screen and I like the matte look and it's not bulky. I love how the protective film attaches to the bumper which not only makes installation easier but also helps keep it in place.
