Bought to strain kefir. Straight out of the box the little one had a spot where the mesh came out of the side seal where it connects to the frame. Enough continuous moldings on the frame to support use. Unfortunately I didn't open it until I needed it and that was after the return period had expired. I bought this set from Wal-Mart about 10 years ago and it cost 1/3 more than this and was better quality and lasted longer. The hole gets bigger after even minimal careful use, so I doubt it will last six months let alone years. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.
