As an IT professional, I've seen some routers that are very restrictive, overly complex, and rarely promise what they say. Ubiquiti's AmpliFi does everything it says on the tin and packs a lot of power into a small package. One of my biggest issues with routers is how they transmit data from different devices on the network. Typically, a 2.4GHz device cannot transmit data to a 5GHz device on a home network without one device switching to the 2.4GHz band. This requires the user to have a separate 2.4GHz band and 5GHz band. AmpliFi does not require two separate tapes for devices. It determines whether your device can use the 2.4GHz or 5GHz band and then adds them to a single network. This means that all devices can communicate with each other without having to change their bands. This is especially important when creating a smart home and activating devices. It also allows each device to use its fastest connection speed. In addition, the installation really only takes a few minutes. Ubiquiti did it. This router is reliable. Discard and upgrade your wired router. It's worth it.
