Review on Sunex 9827: Ultimate Adjustable 🔧 Tie Rod Separator for Precision Separation by Adam Roman

My Sunex adjustable tie rod separator arrived today and I've only taken it out of the box so far so please keep that in mind. This is also the reason why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. I will update the rating/review after use. First, this tool arrived very quickly! As for the tool itself, this is the only tie rod disconnect I've seen that has a handguard to prevent damage from a missed hit. As I get older I find that my hammer doesn't have the precision it used to have, so the safety factor is a big bonus. I also like that the fork head is welded to the handle. I saw a video on youtube where their tool broke where the handle attaches to the fork. Let's hope the weld is strong, so that's a PLUS for now. Another PLUS is the adjustable head. As stated on the packaging, it is adjustable from 11/16" to 1-5/8". That means more space in the toolbox, as well as a lower investment for those who rarely need such a tool. The settings are very simple but seem secure. That's all for now. I'm really looking forward to trying this out! We'll be back with an update soon! UPDATE: Back as promised. Unfortunately I haven't used the Sunex tool yet and I don't know when I will. The old truck was just in terrible shape. It was cheaper and much faster to just take another truck. Maybe I'll turn this truck into a tractor! :-)
