I originally ordered a 1.5" barrel, thinking that diameter would include both fan and bristles . "Diameter, which is a huge circumference for my 6" length. So I returned 1.5 (no problem) and ordered 1" - which is actually 1.5" IF YOU INCLUDED the bristles. PERFECT! And what a tool! It gives me the freedom to go without the traditional blow dryer and round brush and to dry and style with just one device.As my hair is both thin and fine it gives great volume and the ionic technology gives it more shine than me Bristles have been effective for years without irritating the scalp. I love this product and would give more stars if I could. :)
