It depends on the wiring, I suppose. I have copper wires with a 2.5 cross section. but somehow they are dispersed along several pathways. It's been a while since then. I had to search for a location with better reception. It turns out that the plug in the adjacent room is the best option. I had different expectations regarding the outcome. In my instance, the wi-fi repeater completes the task.
