I regret the purchase. We got it for my atlas. Lowered the 3rd row and tightened the rods as best I could. My friend is very strong and I helped hold it in place while it was being tightened. So I couldn't think of anyone who wouldn't have that help and extra strength and try to pull everything together better than we do. At first we thought it worked during our trip there (almost left a positive review for the trip there). However, he did not stop on the way back. Our German Dane went nuts when he landed on it and a panicked 180lb dog tripped over metal, our luggage and other packaged goods trying to get to us and ended up colliding on the autobahn, NOT SAFE! I am pregnant and cannot move or hold it easily. Almost caused an accident. We were still 7 hours from home and had to pull over to the curb and unpack everything to put it in order. Then I had to deal with the smell of his anal gland because he was getting scared and also refusing to get in the car and worried about his back (this dog LOVES the car and also travels so we have to face this new one every time scared when we want to go somewhere) and then undress to take him to the toilet, now a serious burden for us). 2 hours later on the Autobahn it did the same thing and skidded so AGAIN we had to stop and unpack our car, raise the seats, wrap it with the luggage net straps and push against the seats and while we drove we watched it slid again and not attached to the roof but hanging at an angle because we latched the captain's chair seats. So go back and try this Bushwick net which seems to fit the seat for sure and has the best reviews.
