I am very satisfied with this partition

After reading several reviews on this and other similar products that are much more expensive, it turned out that the complaints were the same. keep a big dog. Some reviews (even on products over $80) said it was unreliable and unsafe. I went for the cheap one as they all seem the same. I am very happy with this section. I installed it myself (madam) and tightened it as tight as I could which is great. I have a pit bull and a golden retriever. They are both 7 years old so not super hyperactive.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Obsolete model

I was wary of buying because of the bad reviews, but my Beagle, who can jump over the back seat of my 15 Ford Explorer, isn't exactly Cujo. He kind of got over the seat if he stayed in the car for a long time. I didn't need anything military grade and that helps. It took me about 7 minutes to assemble, but that was because I didn't drive the long poles into the side rails tight enough. You literally have to pound them in cement to complete step 1 of the guide. After that everything was easy…

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Boring packaging

May work if your dog is older or severely disabled.

It wasn't a big investment. However, you get what you pay for. There are a few things that weren't great about this product. For example, the pressure you can generate to hold up pillars that go from ceiling to floor isn't impressive. It's not scary, I'll get through it. However, the fact that the adjustable extensions won't snap into place is a HUGE problem. The fact that the extensions are made out of a tin can is a big problem. First we went in a car and we walked away a few minutes and came

Side-moving bars don't snap

It's really cool and very strong! Except that the side moveable bars don't snap into place, hence the 4 stars. However, the likelihood that your dog will understand this and learn to put the bars back in is very small. And there are ways to fix them. A piece of tape is the first idea that comes to mind and the dog won't be able to tape it at all. I think it's for the cargo area but I use mine behind the front seats. This will not allow your front seats to recline or slide back when you install…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not automatic

Nightmare. Doesn't work

I regret the purchase. We got it for my atlas. Lowered the 3rd row and tightened the rods as best I could. My friend is very strong and I helped hold it in place while it was being tightened. So I couldn't think of anyone who wouldn't have that help and extra strength and try to pull everything together better than we do. At first we thought it worked during our trip there (almost left a positive review for the trip there). However, he did not stop on the way back. Our German Dane went nuts…

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Something different

Can work if you don't have GSD, hard to put on.

UPDATE #2: So I went ahead and saved it for about a week. When I wrote the first update I thought I'd send it back right away, but thought I'd just keep it to see if it really held up to the strain. I can not. Again like I said to tighten this you have to simultaneously push the top bar up while holding the bottom or bottom and towards the bottom service so you basically push up and down at the same time and then you have to You release a point to get the plastic screw in, which I think would…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
