Doesn't last much more than a couple of hours

I bought a pair of these to connect to two Macbook Pros, two Raspberry Pis and two Dell P2715Qs and a Mac keyboard (wired) and a Microsoft mouse ( wired). I connected one to two macs, a pi and a monitor and the other to two macs and another monitor. Immediately, neither the keyboard nor the mouse connection worked properly. The keyboard didn't even move forward when detecting the Mac, and the mouse moved but didn't click. I disabled the mouse function as instructed and was able to click but not drag. Instead I connected a keyboard and mouse to the front USB port and it worked. After that I could switch between everything and it was good, if not perfect. Maybe a few hours after I noticed the right Mac's screen was flickering as if the monitor was disconnected and then reconnected. Then, shortly after, the right screen stopped working for the left Mac. It showed up as present on Mac, just blank. The left screen then went static and flickered for the right Mac. Then suddenly the right monitor was recognized as 3DTV on both Macs. Two troubleshooters, I tried different cables, switched the pairing to KVM, and weird features specific to each followed them wherever I plugged them. I was very excited about this setup and checked the specs that everything would work but I realize the electronics are not up to date which is disappointing.
