I bought this kitchen scale for its size and convenience. I have an old, large, heavy digital scale about 12" x 12" and it's difficult to set up and get ready to use. This offered a good sized device that I could put in my kitchen drawer and use at any time by simply opening the drawer and sitting on the counter. I have used my new scale twice so far and have been very happy with its quality and ease of use. I love cooking and vacuum packing my food for the week ahead. With this scale, I can easily get the same amount of food in each bag before sealing it. My work in the kitchen is also reduced with this scale as I can put it in a zippered storage bag when weighing my groceries to keep them clean and dry. When I was done, I just put it back in the box and in the kitchen drawer. VERY EASY! I love it and yes I would buy it again in the future.
