Review on WIX Filters 51794 Spin Filter by Kevin Woods

This part number is for a 7.8" tall, round 3 5/8" spin-on oil filter that filters down to 21 microns. This is NOT 51794R which stands for racing filter. Part number 51794MP is said to be for a box of 12 of them. Thread is 13/16" x 16 tpi and fits 1979 thru 1993 Chevy small block engines. See wixfilters for a full list. According to their website, this is a regular truck SBC filter, not their extreme XP or XE line. This filter is identical in diameter to a regular SBC filter. It fits perfectly on my 406cu in a Dart SBC block. This is a cheap and easy way to add oil volume if you have space underneath to fit that longer filter.
