An Important Problem for DVD Recorders

I bought two of these - the picture quality they produce is excellent on store bought DVDs and very good on DVDs I recorded via cable. The only major downside is that with both, if I burn something onto a DVD-R disc, my Panasonic DVD recorders won't be able to read the disc, whether it's finalized or not. I also have a JVC surround sound system that cannot read discs. This is not good. This problem does not occur when I use DVD-RAM discs. It's a bit annoying to skip from chapter to chapter on a DVD-RAM disc with many chapters. With Panasonic DVD recorders, when playing a DVD-RAM disc, all you have to do is key in the chapter number you want and it will jump to it instantly. To do this, you need to double-tap the screen, go to chapters, type in the chapter number, and press OK. Otherwise this recorder is fine. blue screen - We call this the blue screen of death. We need to turn off the DVD burner and turn it back on to fix this. This happens on our two DVD recorders.
