My parents love puzzles. Or they get bored. However. I used to see jigsaw puzzles in her basement all the time when I was on vacation. I live in Chicago. I saw it and bought it for her because it seemed interesting. I just visited and a year later it was still unfinished in her basement. That's not normal. My parents are obsessively tidy people. A mystery that has been lying around for a year is what a car on cinder blocks in the yard is to others. This is a difficult puzzle. I was amazed at how difficult it is. Below the puzzle is a map of the city before the fire (The first city burned down - that is, the "Second City"). There's some serious botanical love behind it. I've been with Loop for five years, so things fell into place quickly for me. But god, how can anyone else go to the trouble of putting this together? This is a rewarding Chicago nerd experience. Should be part of WBEZ to be added to Navy Pier.
