I have a very small dog so I may be biased. The backpack folds up and arrives well packaged. I was concerned that the carrier might flop a lot but everything seems fine! The bottom of the bag is removable, has a fleece coating and can therefore be washed! It's a bit heavier than a regular backpack, but that's to be expected. I love that it has a clip on the front for humans :) and a safety collar to attach for your furry little ones! The backpack is actually not as small as I thought based on other reviews but my Yorkshire fits great and has plenty of room to move. Can't walk but definitely sit, stand and lie comfortably. I mean. i really like it
